Outreach Ministry

The Outreach Ministry is comprised of attendance, visitor cards, birthday cards, miss you and get well cards. This ministry also is responsible for the church newsletter and sending flowers. We also coordinate the UCFC offerings to different missions. The first Sunday of each month is designated as ALFA Sunday. People from our church bring pantry items that are taken to ALFA to assist people living with HIV/AIDS.

One of the most rewarding missions takes place every Sunday at UCFC. The congregation takes up a love offering for What-A-Buck-Can-Do. The purpose of What-A-Buck-Can-Do is to provide monetary assistance for families and individuals for a short-term period.

Children's Church

The Children's Ministry is time set-aside during the sermon part of Sunday morning service. We provide children a view of the Holy Bible on a level in which they can understand and hopefully carry these Biblical principles into the future. This is also a time the children can have a good time while learning about Jesus.

Aundrea is the Director of the Children's Ministry, Bill and Linda Petersen present a special children's sermon once a month.

Drama Ministry

The Mission of the UCFC Players is the spread the word of God to the congregation and the community at large through theater and visual arts.

Is this the team for you?

Do you enjoy entertaining other? Are you a musician? Are you good at organizing and managing? Do you like sewing or creating design? Do you like shopping for unusual items? Do you like to build and paint? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, this is the team for you!

How much time am I going to have to commit to this ministry?

The short answer is . . . Depends on the size of the production. Typically short skits or plays require 1 to 2 hours once a week for about a month or less. Larger productions such as a Christmas or Easter play will require 2 hours a week for 6 to 8 weeks.

There is something for everyone and the Drama Ministry Team would love for you to joins up in this unique way of spreading God's Good News.

Grounds Ministry

The Grounds ministry is a group of committed members who physically maintain the UCFC property. God has blessed us with this beautiful 7.5 acres of property and it is an honor to serve the Lord in this capacity! This property is a place on which all people can worship however one feels comfortable, whether it is outdoors watching the abundant wildlife or whether it is in the holiness of the sanctuary. This is a blessed place because we know "We Are Standing on Holy Grounds"!

Prayer Ministry

The UCFC Prayer Team meets regularly to provide prayer. If you have a desire to pray for the church and others you are welcome. Opportunities to give and receive prayer are also available during services and at most fellowship events.

Music Ministry

UCFC's Music Ministry has been blessed over the years with many talented individuals. Our choir has had the privilege of singing in the local community at such events as ALFA's (Aids Leadership Foothills Area Alliance) Dining For Friends and World Aids Day, as well as at our Alliance conferences throughout the United States. 

Our Praise Team provides music at our weekly worships service. We are always looking for committed musicians and singers.
