Visitors

We would like to welcome and thank You for visiting our website.  The name "Unifour" represents a geographic area consisting of four counties in the Catawba Valley region of western North Carolina. UCFC is a non-denominational church who's purpose is to create an atmosphere for it's member and guest to worship, discover, develop and demonstrate the love of God.  We are committed to a Biblical focus emphasizing the principles of Jesus Christ. Our mission is based on God’s unconditional love for all people. We are an inclusive church with an inclusive message. We seek to connect with God’s love and share God’s love with everyone. Our vision is to take the next step in success as we experience God’s abundance and favor.

In our church service, you will enjoy both contemporary and traditional Christian music. You will find people from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds smiling, laughing and enjoying their faith. You will find those dressed casual and you will find individuals in their Sunday best. We have been able to create an atmosphere in which everyone feels at home regardless of how they come or where they come from.

If you have been wounded by legalism and not accepted by others, UNIFOUR is a place for you. If you are seeking to know more about God’s love, acceptance and inclusion, UNIFOUR is a place for you. If you are a new believer, UNIFOUR is a place for you to grow and develop. If you are mature believer, UNIFOUR is a place for you to worship and have a purpose-driven life. UNIFOUR is a place for all people.
Come and enjoy our journey of faith together. We have a comfortable and welcoming place for you.

In His Service,
Pastor Vaughn

Walking in ...

You'll be greeted warmly by our greeters and handed a bulletin. Right inside the front doors is our social gathering place. You will see people talking, laughing and meeting new friends. You can also pick up a cup of coffee and join the chatter. Feel free to ask any question you want of the greeters at the door. They are there for you. At some point prior to the service, you may be given a welcome card. We would love for you to fill it out (front and back) and return during the offering. We love to stay connected to our friends. You will also be given a welcome packet. The packet has some information about our church.

Our Services ...

Our service offers you the opportunity to worship God with other loving people. The service occurs at 10:30 am and usually last till 12 noonish. Early in the service, we celebrate a long standing tradition – the Kiss of Peace. People go around the church shaking hands and hugging necks. If you are not comfortable with the interaction – just let us know, We understand. We sing for 20-30 minutes, After that, children are invited to go to children’s church, "Jesus and Me" (JAM). You can expect a dynamic message from the Pastor or visiting speaker who often use multi-media, drama, music, and video clips to convey the message. You will be challenged and lifted up. We celebrate communion the first Sunday of each month.

For Kids (3-12) ...

Jesus and Me (JAM) our children’s service is during the adult worship service. Kids age 3 through 12 will enjoy fun, interactive Bible-based instruction. The children gather in the large social area. Kids' safety is of utmost concern to us so all workers are trained in teaching techniques, CPR/First Aid and cleared through a background check. We even use gloves and sanitizer to ensure a safe and clean environment.
Teens and Young Adult
Teens and Young Adults are an important part of our service. They often take part in singing, leading and participating. Most of all they worship with us. There are special events for teens and youth at other times.
