The Reverend Leo Morton serves Unifour Church as our Senior Pastor.  Pastor Leo has served Unifour for more than 10 years in various roles and is proud to be part of the legacy of faith in this community. 

Pastor Leo is a Graduate of Anderson County Schools in Anderson, South Carolina, and a Graduate of Forrest College in Anderson, SC.  Leo was ordained in 1997 in Anderson, South Carolina. In July of 2020, Leo's ordination was recognized by Unifour Church in fulfilment of the Church's mission and in honor of Leo's commitment to Unifour. Leo is currently continuing education through Yale University's Religious Studies online program.

Pastor Leo began his ministry in rural Georgia where he served as a church pianist. Knowing God called him into pastoral ministry, Leo pastored a small, faithful congregation in Pendleton, South Carolina before being called to Hannah’s Creek Baptist Church in Royston, Georgia for several years.  As God moved, Leo relocated to North Carolina where he served in various roles before coming to Unifour in 2009.  Leo has served on the Praise Team, Choir Director, and then Worship Ministry Team Leader.  Leo was called back to Unifour as the Interim Minister of Music in 2019. He was then appointed as Associate Pastor in early 2020, and Senior Pastor on October 17, 2021.

Pastor Leo serves as the President of Catawba Valley Pride.

Pastor Leo has a beautiful family: Alex, his Husband, and a son, Giovany. Leo believes that God’s love is for ALL people, and welcomes any opportunity for you to plug in with the ministries of the church!
